However, top Indian juniors D Gukesh and R Praggnanandhaa are absent, likely due to scheduling conflicts as the Chess Olympiad begins just two days after the GCL final. This raises concerns about player fatigue and mental burden. The tournament emphasizes live streaming to maximize viewership, promising an engaging experience for global fans.
